HOW HAS ROADNIGHT AG SUPPORTED FARMERS?
DAIRY/CROPPING FARMER & CONTRACTOR, VIC
Roadnight Ag facilitated a refinance and restructure of a farmer in Northern Victoria. The primary banking relationship provided insufficient working capital after the client suffered from the impacts of flooding and drought. Roadnight was able to restructure and recapitalise the facilities to create better liquidity for the client to support growth into the future. A bespoke security structure was utilised to extract the most amount of equity from the machinery and farmland security to support the lending.
CROP HARVEST FINANCE,
SA
Roadnight Ag provided upfront finance secured against the known crop proceeds. The repayments aligned with the co-operatives progressive payments over a 12 month period of the following year. The funding released growth working capital to enable preparation of the crop for the following season , secure water rights and cover farm operating expenditure.
PRIME LAMB,
TAS
Roadnight Ag refinanced the client to provide time to divest part of the farm property and assist with development funding over a 3 year period. The farm improvements comprised of fencing, land subdivision, pasture renovation, water infrastructure installation, fertiliser and government approved land clearing. Over the 3 year period, farm productivity and revenue increased significantly together with capital appreciation.
WAGYU BREEDING & FEEDLOT,
QLD
Roadnight Ag provided funding to increase the size of the herd, and the percentage of owned cattle processed through their feedlot from 20% - 50%. This growth funding resulted in the profit margin of the wagyu sale program increasing significantly generating important free cash flow to support their vertical integration plans.
COTTON, WHEAT & CATTLE,
NSW
Roadnight Ag provided funding to the son of a multi generational farming family to purchase land owned 50% by the parents and 50% owned by the grandfather. The son is an excellent operator, previously leasing the property and the implementation of the succession plan ensured the family legacy asset was preserved.
